The Teleporters were formed by the only two attendees of Octogram's 21st birthday bash, held in his grotty Brighton abode in the post-Britpop years. When the vodka kisses ran out we lamented together, sobbing and groaning to the rhythms of a Mogwai remix CD. Octogram at this point had no curtains in his windows and, when we switched off the light to bed down that night, we discovered we'd drawn a modest crowd of rats and gulls on the mattress-strewn lawn.
Now we're aiming to hit it big with soaring choruses and big name producers, saying things like 'mahoosive' in interviews and arsing about. We are available for bookings.

Greetings world.  You find The Teleporters this day staggering from a manhole, blinking at the pale daylight in trackie bottoms, our pockets filled with spuds. We have been summoned from our subterranean kingdom by the tyrants at Chocolate Monk to formally announce the release of our latest album "Buzzed In/Past These Herberts."
It's an ambitious 2CD dual-narrative confection and is being described here and there as 'well worth the effort'. It is, in point of fact, our finest release to date and can be purchased here.

Noel Gardner has some kind words to say about the release in his article on the 'New British Weird' for the Quietus, which you'll find here.
